Operational Strategy:
- Advocacy and engagement with Ministry of Home Affairs for improvement conditions in Zimbabwe prisons
- Capacity building for Prison Officers to support ethical and humane treatment of prisoners
- Increase the number of volunteers that are able to provide counselling and support to prison inmates through capacity building
- Provide infrastructural support to prisons- eg Provide water tanks, uniforms, food
- Provide a Strategy for Rehabilitation and Community Reintegration of inmates and ex-inmates
- Provide training and skills capacity building for inmates who are nearing release in business courses and training of spouses of the incarcerated in business courses/income generating programmes
- Provide school fees for children of the incarcerated and general outreach to them
